A bit of a wet day here, but nice between the showers.
The American Wigeon duck is still residing at Cornabus. A single waxwing was seen in Portnahaven getting a drink off the road by the OK corner, and Louise over on Jura was also fortunate enough to see some this morning at Craighouse.
Mike Bell sent in his days records: Today 24 Whooper Swans arrived Ardnave Loch mid-morning and left south at midday. 3 Purple Sandpiper Traigh Nostaig and 3 imm WTE Ardnave point left for Nave Island. Even more Golden Plover at Gruinart with 2160 mid-afternoon but only 415 Teal, a big decrease on a few days ago. Finally a Hen Harrier at Carnduncan.
Thanks as ever to all.
