Wednesday 19th August
A beautiful start to the day and then as forecast the rain came on at about 11 'o' clock. During the dry spell lots of farms have cut silage; the landscape has changed.
On the cut fields at Gruinart 19 Black Tailed Godwits and 10 Ruff were feeding on a wet area.
For those of you visiting Islay or Jura, please send your sightings to us here at islaybirds@gmail.com To contribute and get bird news as it happens, message 07919941750 to join our WhatsApp group while here.
