Sam Turnbull saw a couple of White-tailed Eagles over Whin Park at the top of Loch Indaal this afternoon.
James How reports the first decent-sized flock of Barnacle Geese (480) into Islay this winter up at Gruinart this evening along with 22 Brent Geese, 212 Lapwing and 11 Black-tailed Godwits. the Barnies are perhaps on their way despite fairly unfavourable wind directions?
