Friday 6th March
Yesterday Malcolm came across a dead 1st winter Glacous Gull down on the top of Loch Indaal opposite the "Foreland" roadend. Malcolm say said that it was in poor condition and in poor condition. Yesterday Pat and Angie had seen the Brambling up at Kilchoman, over at East Carrabus they saw a male Hen harrier with a ringtail seen over at Ardnahoe Loch on the road to Bunnahabhain.. Today they saw another Hen Harrier, this time on the road twards Kilbride just out of Port Ellen. Earlier on they had seen a Peregrine while out on the OA.Up at Allant, they spotted several Yellowhammers. Thanks to Pat and Angie as well as Chris and John for their birds through this past week, safe journey home folks...
