Wednesday 4th June

Just about forgot to mention the rainfall figures for May tallied out at 4.5", we had another wee drop of the stuff last night and so far (and it is only the 4th)the rainfall is over an inch, at least it is dry through the day!!! This morning there were several Song Thrushes poking about on the grass looking for worms after the rain. On the House and garage roof, we had 7 Chough perched and chattering away between themselves. Later on, this afternoon I counted 10 Goldfinches on the feeders where there had been a pair of Greenfinches earlier on. We seem to be not seeing as many Blue Tits around, not as many as in previous years.
