Sunday 28th June

Well like everywhere else it has been a pig of a day, with heavy squally showers appearing out of nowhere... So just another day spent watching the bird from the comforts of the house...

Karen Graham from Bearsden was in touch with similar thoughts to me...

"Well then, I was working away at the kitchen sink and the Sparrowhawk tore past between house and garage, missing the Willow and the birds in at the feeders. Juv Woodpecker  a regular now and red colour on head turning black but as yet no sign of red at back of neck so probably a female.
Looks like a few more days of rain ahead. Very heavy just now so not going past door today."
