Well not so much news about our birds on Islay, but seeing that May has been and gone, II have managed to get some rainfall figures for you... Marsali who lives over at Mulindry had a total of 1.9 inches for the month with Dr Matt Jackson's  figure was only 1.34 of an inch  recorded in his weather station, at Rockside road end...So all going well, I will get in touch with some more of our weather watchers for their figures. A wee job for tomorrow to do!!!!!
