Well, because of a power cut last night, I did not manage an entry, but here goes, as ever, better late than never...
Alistair Hart yesterday had seen a Hen Harrier being mobbed by House Martins down beside Octofad.
James had seen a Sparrowhawk on the reserve at Gruinart.
Up here at home, we had the pesky Sparrowhawk sitting out on top of one of the feeding cages, less than 10 feet away. It flew off and thankfully did not "bother" anybody else. I saw a Wheatear on top of the garden wall, the first seen here for a wee while.
Phill Catton had seen a White tailed Eagle being chased by some angry Gulls, all flying low over the harbour in Port Ellen yesterday evening
