What a brilliant day, I almost turned to greasy spot...
Hopfully, this image willl be online for you to see a couple of Painted lady butterflies taken the other day. still quite a few of them around again today...
The rainfall for June and July came to exactly 8 inches, not sure how much fell in which month but the overall tally is correct.
Not a lot on the bird front today, only 3 Buzzards and a single Peregrine were seen out over the crag, late morning. with the Linnets up to around 80 birds on the seed crop...
