Monday 28th January

This morning, Gary had seen a group of waders down at Bruichladich consisting of some Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Turnstone, Redshank and also a couple of Purple Sandpiper as well. Along on the Uiskentuie strand, he had 2 groups of around 20 Curlews. Finally, on the overhead telephone cables at Rock Mountian, Gary had a female Merlin perched up.
This morning up here,we had a Buzzard sitting on top of the big electricity transformer pole in the garden, a shorwhile afterwards, a Kestrel was there, and then just before lunch, the Sparrowhawk flew past and away across the machir...
