The cooler weather continues, the wee birds were hogging the food on offer, what's new you might well ask, well not a lot. The pesky Sparrowhawk was not present here today, but Distillery Dave had seen a male Hen Harrier as he drove along between Rockside and Sunderland Farm.
Next Tuesday evening, for those of you who may be over on Islay, the Islay bird nerds will be having their annual evening out at the Lochside Hotel in Bowmore for a bar supper at 7 pm. so if you are around and would like to come, please get in touch with Ian, so he can let the Lochside Hotel know our numbers...
