Another great day with the weather over here again. Louise had been in touch with James to say that an Osprey has been seen quite often of late over on Loch Tarbert on Jura. Yesterday Euan had managed to catch and put some colour rings on some Gulls, and today rung another 2 broods of young Swallows. This afternoon, Euan caught and rung a Sedge Warbler. The other day, Margaret had a Snipe sitting on top of a fence post while round Loch Gorm. Last night we tried to do a Corncrake count, but to no avail as it was windy and so making it hard to get an exact location of any calling birds.
