Sunday 22nd July

The weather today has been of 2 halves, up to mid afternoon it was a not bad day, grey skies yes, but it was quite pleasant all the same, and then it went downhill with a damp smurry rain, better than a downpour you could say! Earlier on this morning on the bird table, one of Euan's rung young Starlings was taking centre stage and hogging the table and chasing away anything that tried to come to the table! Down close to Loch Gorm we had a male Hen Harrier beside the road and later on there were 22 Mute Swans on Loch Skerrols.
