Sunday 8th July

Euan Ferguson from Aberdeen kindly rung 2 of the broods of Swallows this afternoon, so now all we need now is wait and see if through time we here any further details of their whereabouts... George has returned from his trip to Namibia and was in touch to say that he has has seen some more House Martins around his house, but this year none have built any nests yet. In the willows at the back of his house, he has seen more Willow Warblers recently, and also some Redpolls. Here at home, there was a Wheatear on the dyke directly in front of the cottages this morning, we do not normally get them that close. Over the crag the other day there was a Kestrel seeing a Buzzard off.
