This was taken by Carl yesterday in Craighouse outside the Jura Distillery of some Swallows resting up for a moment or two.
Also yesterday some visitors had seen an Osprey fishing at the head of Loch Indaal. George had a count of 70 Common Gulls down at Bruichladdich, and there were 10 juvenile birds in the tally. Today he had seen 4 Ravens on the roadside between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte.
Earlier on in the week, Bob Davison had seen a Little Stint amongst some Dunlin up at Ardnave. He also had some Golden Plovers too. Back at home Bob has had counts of up to 26 Whinchat, and also had good numbers of Reed Bunting up at Grimsay.
