Today, James had a count of 1,190 Greylag Geese on the freshly mown grass fields over at Gruinart. Back in June it was interesting to see the number of Rooks on the fields that were cut then.
Back to this morning, and on the wires between 2 of the electric poles, I had 5 different species of birds present, Swallow, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Starling and House Sparrow, nothing really special, but good to see all the same. There was a Blackbird there this evening!
