Monday 7th September

The weather has not been up to top birds being seen on Islay today but Peter had been out yesterday while Dave Wood had seen some birds over the past few days...

Dave's birds were as follows...

"Saturday – 2 Bonxies during a short afternoon sea-watch from near the monument

Sunday - Kintra – 10+ White Wagtails, 2 Greenland Wheatear, 7 Red-throated Divers."

Peter sent this info through to me this morning....

"A lovely evening on Sunday (unlike the foul weather today) so got out  and did some mackerel fishing in the evening off Port Charlotte. Caught plenty and while gutting them before coming back in, had for the first time ever, a Bonxie come in to scavenge with the gulls. It seemed very appreciative of the free hand out!!!"
