Colin Green emailed the following message saying that he had not seen many birds today as he had climbed up Beinn Bheigier apart from seeing many Meadow Pipits. A quick look at the Fair Isle Bird Obs where they had counted 669 Mipits on Tuesday, 540 on Wednesday with only 449 yesterday. Mind you, the count on Tuesday was the highest count so far of Mipits this Autumn so far there...
