Friday 11th September

Not much to report from Islay today, but Gary had seen a Greenshank in the creeks at the top of  Loch Indaal beside Donald Bell's house. He also watched  an Osprey perched on top of the wreck out in Loch Indaal as the tide was going out.

Karen Graham who is still up North reported through say that there were not many birds around today, but the weather was great, nice blue skies etc..."Only 3 Oystercatcher which have been on same rocks for last two months, 2 Redshank and  a Curlew there too. Several House Martins still around."
