Great breaking news is that a Glossy Ibis was seen in a barley field up at Craigens yesterday evening by a Mr Radcliffe from Edinburgh and later confirmed by the photos taken by his son Alex.... Jim Dickson was on the ferry heading home to Kennacraig with the Radcliffes and now awaits the images through from Alex... A quick phone call and also some emails to some friends on Islay, allowing them to see it this afternoon...
James at lunch time had seen "quite a few White Wagtails round at Rock mountain as well as a Hen Harrier as well as many Stonechats seen there too.. Over at Gruinart, James saw another Hen Harrier and also an Osprey out over Loch Gruinart"
