Yesterday was David and Dianne Wright's last day of their present visit to Islay, but before the headed home, they saw the Little Egret on the reserve at Gruinart. Thanks for your birds folks!!!
Over at Gruinart today, James had seen a Merlin as well as a Hen Harrier. Speaking to James later on this afternoon, we both have the same impression about the Kestrels, that there seem to be more of them around as I feel that I am getting more reports of sightings lately of Kestrels.
