The tally for Loch Gruinart came to 27 Shelduck, 32 Teal, 8 Red breasted Merganser, 133 Oystercatcher, 30 Ringed Plover, 152 Lapwing, 39 Sanderling, 123 Dunlin, 110 Barwits, 117 Curlew, 23 Redshank, 62 Turnstone, 3 Greenshank, 6 Pale bellied Brent, 30 Black headed Gull, 176 Common Gull, 18 Herring Gull and 6 Great Black backed Gull. The birds on the floods were 1 Moorhen, 3 Gadwall, 2 Heron, 679 Teal, 21 Shoveler,134 Mallard, 190 Wigeon, 32 Pintail, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Mute Swan, 2 Whoopers, 6 Lapwing, 2 Curlew, 2 Snipe, 20 Greenland Whitefronts and also 115 Barnies.
