Monday 20th June

Yesterday, David Barr, a relatively new resident to Islay had seen an Osprey on top of a telegraph pole along with a fish as he headed up towards Sanaigmore. Today, here at home the local pair of Chough have been busy teaching their youngsters, coaxing them away from the nest, with some success sometimes... This afternoon, there was a Linnet singing away on top of the garden fence ... Early evening now, and it looks as if the rain is not far away, saves me watering the plants if nothing else!!!
