Thursday 27th November

James had gone out on the ferry yesterday morning to a RSPB Argyll team meeting which was held up in Oban. On the ferry to Kennacraig, he saw a Black throated Diver and 2 Red throated Divers. Coming back this afternoon, he had a further 2 Red throated Divers and a raft of 24 GND at one point along with several Tysties coming up the Sound of Islay. This morning, Bob had a White tailed Sea Eagle from his kitchen window out over Carn being chased by a Buzzard which in turn had been followed by a couple of Ravens! Here at home, a beautiful ringtail Hen Harrier swooped low over the garden fence and across the grass and out over the other fence.. just great! By the way, another nice dry day outside, not the warmest, but not bad for the last few days of Autumn. I will not complain if we get the same sort of a day tomorrow!!!
