Today, James had a Water Rail on the reserve at Gruinart. Between Rockside and Sunderland Farm, we had a Merlin on top of a fence post before it flitted off and away! Down, coming out of Bowmore, below the power generating station on Loch Indaal, there was a group of 9 Whooper Swans including a juvenile Swan with them. I have not seem any Pale belied Brent for some time now, come to think about it... Another good day for time of year, on Monday, Winter is officially "supposed" to start, and today I was outside in my shirt sleeves, no jumper or jacket...
