Monday 11th August

The weather today has been a bit of a mixed bag with with strong winds, with the ferries diverting to Port Askaig, just as well that we have got 2 ferry ports. Net result because of the squally showers is that no reports came through this evening but mid morning Margaret saw a hen Pheasant out in the garden showing off her clutch of 6 chicks that looked to be less than a week old. This afternoon, only saw 3 chicks, or could this be a different brood, here's hoping anyway!!!
