Some sightings through from Michal from earlier on this week...On Thursday, down on the shore below Easter Ellister, he saw 2 Common Sandpiper, 4 Terns and also a Merlin, he also heard a Cuckoo there as well, later on, down at Portnahaven, he saw another Common Sandpiper. On Friday, he heard a Chiffchaff at Port Wemyss, at Wester Ellister, he saw 2 Whinchats and at Octofad a Snipe was drumming, and at Moullin on the reserve at Gruinart, Michal's home, he saw a male and also a female Cuckoo. The Redpolls and the Siskins were seen on the bird table today, here at home.
