Nothing much to report today as I have become square eyed, glued to the screen watching sport in general, the Golf, Moto GP, World Superbikes, F1. The net result was that the only bird of note seen, was a Siskin out on the feeders.

Some less common species require descriptions (ideally with a photo) for them to be accepted into the records of the Argyll Bird Club (ABC), Scottish Ornithologist's Club (SOC) or as national rarities (BBRC). A list of species requiring descriptions by ABC and SOC can be found on the ABC website. Details and photographs of all rare bird sightings should be sent in (preferably emailed) as soon as possible after the sighting to Jim Dickson, 11 Pipers Road, Cairnbaan, Lochgilphead, Argyll PA31 8UF.
