Just a wee reminder as tomorrow is the last Tuesday of the month, time for the monthly meet of the Bird nerds here on Islay... So , we shall meet up at the Gaelic college, outside of Bowmore at 7pm, so if you are around and at a lose end, come and meet up with us, as ever visitors are made welcome...
George E. Jackson along with his wife Pat arrived over yesterday for a few days, and had seen 5 Swallows at their son's house as well as a flock of around 250 Starlings. earlier on this evening Distillery Dave had a female Sparrowhawk on top of the fence around the wood beside his house at Rockside.
As promised, an image of the Big bird feeding station which Distillery Dave helped us build....
