Around midday, Malcolm had seen 12 Whimbrel on the shoreline below the former school at Gortan, beside the coal yard on Loch Indaal. The other evening, Distillery Dave took a walk down to Machir Bay from Rockside and had seen at least 8 different Wheatears, 5 seen before he got along to the Coastguards and the others seen between the Coastguards and Machir Bay itself.
