Back on Sunday, Marsali Thomson had heard a Cuckoo calling, over at Ballygrant. On Sunday evening Tim and Emily had a seen a male and a female Hen Harrier out on the wing up behind their cottage. Yesterday they saw 2 Common Sandpipers on the edge of Loch an t Salein and then another at Loch a Chnuic over at Gruinart they had seen House Martins, Sand Martins and also Swallows. Down at Bruichladdich, the Purple Sandpipers were still present.
