Almost forgot, it was the night when we are supposed to remember Rabbie Burns, our famous Scottish poet, long and the short I have had had my evening meal now, with no haggis being consumed, time yet for a dram to toast Rabbie though... As you may have gathered another poor day for the birds and the blog, but James did see around 20 Golden Plovers as he came over here this afternoon. In this small group there were 2 birds with black bellies aleady, summer plumage...The forecast for through tonight is that the wind is to pick up and more rain to fall, what's new you may well ask?
