March is almost over, not been that bad a month with regard to the weather, although last night we had the best part of 0.75" of rain, the burn was well up! It was damp for most of the morning, but cleared away after lunch, net result not much birding done! Yesterday, Malcolm was Goose counting on the Loch Gorm run and round at Ballinaby there were 230 Golden Plover and further on a male Hen Harrier was seen. Carl had a Greenfinch "singing in the rain" in his garden yesterday down in Port Charlotte.
