Another wet day here again, it has rained all day, although not heavily.... Mind you the ground is saturated, with pools appearing all over the place.
James was over this afternoon with some sightings from the past few days on the reserve at Gruinart. On Friday, he had an Otter and 9 Whooper Swans while out working on the sluices. Yesterday there was a Golden Eagle, a male Hen Harrier and 70 Skylark. Today, a Merlin, a Sparrowhawk, a female Hen Harrier and the Canada Goose hutchinsii sp
