Sunday 6th March

It is not that often that we get many geese in the fields around our house, but this morning there were 23 Greylags in the small field beside the old church. We sometimes get a few Whitefronts along with the odd Barnie up in the field the cave, but today it was only the Greylags to be seen. Over at the reserve at Gruinart, James had a Pink footed Goose on the flats, also present was the Canada Goose, hutchinsii sp
Back here at home this afternoon, a Peregrine flew low over the wood, over the garage and out towards the crag, no doubt on the lookout for some food.
