Another great image through from Mike Cartwright, taken last weekend over at Bunnahabhain. No doubt the Iceland Gull felt at home today with the dirty, squally showers that were around off and on through the day...In the trees here at home, there were 12 Goldfinch present at breakfast time yesterday, so much for saying that I had not seen any for a wee while! Down towards the lochans at the Rockside road end, a male Hen Harrier was out on the wing this morning. A Snow Bunting was present on the track between the new houses up the back of Kilnaughton Bay, mid afternoon.
