Louise Hughes is over leading a group of birders on behalf of "The Travelling Naturalist". Yesterday when they came off the ferry at Port Askaig, they went up to Finlaggan where they saw a White tailed Eagle spoof around 200 Geese and then a short while after that a ringtail Hen Harrier on the wing over the moorland. Today, Louise had taken the group up to Gruinart, where they had a Golden Eagle and up at Ardnave, they saw 20 Chough.
Dave Wood had 8 Brambling and also 2 Merlin at Kinnabus on the Oa. Martin had a Peregrine at Lossit Farm on the Rhinns as well as a Hen Harrier. Back over at Glenegedale where Martin lives, he had seen a group of 10 Long tailed Tits in his garden this morning. Bob, this morning had 2 female Merlin zip through his garden.
