Yesterday up at "base camp", Bob had seen a large female Sparrowhawk which had spooked a mixed flock of 30 Linnets and 6 Twite. Over at his home, up behind Port Charlotte, he had seen a Sparrowhawk there too..with a Peregrine spotted over Carn while on the barley fields on Octomore, he counted 80 Rock Doves and also 30 Woodpigeon.
Distillery Dave made it home from the Birdfair, and up behind Ballygrant, he saw 2 White tailed Eagles yesterday evening. This morning while out with Ted, Dave had seen a Hen Harrier over the dunes behind Machir Bay, and also 2 distant Terns seen along the shore at the Bay. This evening, he saw a single Greenfinch up at Kilchoman.
