Yesterday, Ailidh Reed had been down at the Currie Sands below Claddach, out of Portnahaven and had some great views of a Golden Eagle flying past. Gordon Hewitt had seen a pair of Shelduck below the campsite at Pot Mor, South of Port Charlotte. The Shelduck had 7 ducklings alongside them out on the water. Along the road a little, Gordon had seen a Stonechat on top of some gorse bushes. He also saw a Heron and also a pair of Lapwings out on the wing..
