This image of a Black tailed Godwit was taken on the 21st of June round at Ballinaby by Tony Johnson. Tony did some detective work and has found out that the Godwit was rung as an adult male back in Northern Iceland on the 15th of July 2010. Each year it returns to Iceland and has been seen mostly in North West England. This year alone, it was on Merseyside on the 31st of March, on the 29th of April, it had returned to Northern Iceland and then on the 21st of June it was here on Islay...Thanks Tony!
