Scott along with his birders from Aigas had a great day yesterday. In the harbour in Bowmore, they saw the Goldeneye present there. On Ballygrant Loch, they saw the Ring necked Duck, a RTD in summer plumage, 2 Dabchick along with a Treecreeper in the trees there! Up at Bunnahabhain, they had a GND in the Sound of Islay and also 4 Tysties. Coming out from Bunnahabhain they had a White tailed Sea Eagle. At the head of Loch Indaal, they had 10 Pale bellied Brent Geese In the afternoon, close to Sunderland they had 20 Fieldfare, along at Kilchoman Distillery/ Rockside a juv Golden Eagle was out spoofing the geese. Up at the Distillery, there was a small flock of Linnets and a Wheatear, round Loch Gorm they had 2 different male Hen Harriers. Finally at Gruinart, a Water Rail crossed the road along the flats!!
