Another decent day, nice and sunny with a bit of breeze just to keep the midges away. Nick has been out an about again and saw 105 knot, 20 blac-tailed godwit, 2 bar-tailed godwit, 1 ruff and 95 dunlin amongst the waders on Loch Gruinart. He also saw a peregrine plucking an oystercatcher on the saltmarsh. The kill has been later taken over by a buzzard. On Loch Indaal Nick had 54 bar-tailed godwits (including a colour ringed bird) and two greenshanks.
