It had to come sometime, the rain that is, not that we have had that much, it has not stopped the farmers from their grass silage... On one of the recently cleared fields over at Gruinart, this afternoon there was a large flock of Starlings grubbing around. Earlier on and still on the reserve there was a ringtail Hen Harrier. Here at home there were over 20 Golfinches out in the trees, and while I was sitting having my tea, I saw a Kestrel out the kitchen window. Talking of rain and there is another warning of a possible landslip regarding the Rest & be Thankful, the main road out of Argyll from Lochgilphead towards Glasgow....
