Some sightings from Monday from Nick, on Loch Gruinart, in the morning, he had a count of 43 Black tailed Godwits while in the afternoon, over the top end of Loch Indaal, Nick saw an Osprey. Back to last Wednesday, Bob and myself  saw 8 Basking Sharks off the ferry, 3 at Port Askaig at Freeport and the others as we went down the Sound of Islay on the Islay side. On Thursday, visiting birder, Alistair Hart had seen an Osprey over towards Loch Gorm, at Sunderland there 4 fledged Cuckoos. Alistair also spent some time doing a bit of sea watching down at Frenchman's Rocks and had Gannets, Manx Shearwater, Fulmars and Kittiwakes. Back to today, and Michal had seen 2 Golden Eagles down on the Oa and a survey tallied through at a total of 17 Chough present there too.
