I feel I am just like an old recording saying the same message, the summer just continues, over 20 degrees this afternoon, but the tape will changing come the weekend as we are forecast to come back to normal.... Mark commented on seeing a marked increase in number of Butterflies being seen over the past few days. On the guided walk on the Oa reserve yesterday, Linnet, Twite and a Kestrel were the highlights with a pair of Chough feeding their young too. This afternoon we took a run over to Bunnahabhain to see if any of the "Tall ships" were sailing up the Sound of Islay, none of the large vessels were seen but several yachts were seen. Bird wise we had a Golden Eagle, Buzzard and a Peregrine Falcon too.
