Thursday 14th July

Here it is then, the Rose coloured Starling taken up at Ardnave this morning. In some of the other images it appeared to be more coloured. It was as reported before with the flock of Starlings, with the grazing cattle and sheep around it too....Bob last night had a pair of Stonechats up beside his house. When he out for a walk, he saw families of Whinchat, Sedge Warbler and Willow Warbler. He also had 2 groups of Redpolls, a male Hen Harrier as well as a count of 12 fledged Reed Buntings.
