"Blackbirds making a bit of a racket caught my attention. With a bit of scanning I came across a Tawny Owl roosting on a branch close to the trunk staring me in the face .
Also watched a pair Bullfinches and Blackcaps."
All I can offer you, is that we saw a Yellowhammer out in our garden, late afternoon....the first seen here for some time...
