Tuesday 10th December

Well, you should never speak too soon, as the weather today has gone downhill, big style. The wind has huffed and pufffed all day, with quite a lot of rain thrown into the mix. Having said that, it would be hard to know how much of the rain made it into the rain gauge, as I am pretty sure that most of it would have been blown past the actual mouth of the funnel, pehaps it landed in Marsali's gauge over at Mulindry. Our ferry came over first thing this morning and then stayed put until mid afternoon at Port Askaig but has gone back to Kennacraig and as I write this entry has left again for a second sailing back to Kennacraig, rather them than me, I do not think that the chef will be serving many meals tonight for sure....
