Many Whitethroats heard around the island today, also a close sighting of a male short-eared owl in the early morning mist. G.D.Y.
A passage of 120 Whimbrel was observed off the pier at Bowmore in the morning, as well as a
good showing of Great Northern Divers in summer plumage in Loch Indaal. R.A.S.
