Just had a brief thunderstorm power off for a few minutes, but the phone line is dead....Carl had a Great Northern Diver and a Red breasted Merganser off Port Charlotte today, and later on had a few Reed Buntings were seen down at Rockside, "not exactly a day for birding", to quote Carl. James had a second winter Glaucous Gull at Saligo and a third winter Iceland Gull at Ballinaby. Martin had carried out a garden count at Glenegedale with the scores on the doors being as follows, 11 Greenfinch, 26 Chaffinch, 7 Great Tit, 8 Blue Tit, 10 Coal tit, 38 House Sparrow, 1 Robin, 2 Blackbird, 2 Cock Pheasant and 3 Reed Bunting.
